Philippians 2:13 (NKJV) for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Of course the greatest gift we could possibly possess is the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13). Today I have been pondering the fact that it does not end there. Psalm 35:27 says, "Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." So God puts a desire in you for His pleasure, and wants you to prosper.
Every child of God has a God-given gift. I think many of us realize we have it, but have never taken advantage it. However, whether you know it yet or not---you are gifted.
The gift you have could be a talent or amazing wisdom. It could be an ability to connect with people or even an idea of some sort. Whatever it is---you are gifted.
When the Bible says, "The Lord has pleasure in your prosperity." The Hebrew word used for prosperity is the Hebrew word pronounced, "Shalom". This word means, "at peace in every area of your life" (1).
God has put something in you to take advantage of. It is going to take you to a place of peace in every area of your life. Take advantage of that God-given gift. Release God through it. When you make the decision to use it, God will give you the resources you need to do it.
