Psalm 107:20 (NKJV) He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
According to John 1:1, 14, Jesus is the Word. In Luke 4:18 Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;" Notice it does not say, "only if you deserve it". He came to set us free and there are no strings attached.
Maybe you struggle with a problem you brought on by yourself. Perhaps an addiction or a financial challenge. You need to know that God wants you free from everything including problems you brought on yourself. He delivered you from your own destructions.
You are a valuable treasure to God. God loves you so much; He made salvation simple. Believe in Jesus and His resurrection and all your wrongs are forgiven. He did this so we would not be ashamed to come to Him. When we come to Him, He comes to us. This allows Him to break bondages and fix problems in our lives.
I have some items I treasure. I keep them clean, polished and highly tuned. I fix them when they are broken, and I thoroughly enjoy having time with them. But I would not give my life for them. On the other hand, Jesus took more than forty lashes, nails through His hands, was spit on, humiliated, beaten, and endured a long torturous death on a cross. He did this for us.
The Bible says in Hebrews 12:2, "Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross." He did it for the joy set before Him. We are His joy. We are His valuable treasure.
God is over-flowing with grace. God desires one thing from us---personal fellowship. No matter how big your wrong is, He wants to treasure you. Do not let anything separate you, especially not your mistakes.
