The more you see God---The more you discover God

Romans 1:20 (NKJV) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made.

It takes some faith to believe in the invisible. However God always gives us an avenue to multiply our faith. Our verse at the top declares God is visible through His creations. This is an excellent starting point to build our faith.

I have always cherished the idea of seeing God on a personal level. One day as I pondered this, a thought came to mind; As a Blind man believes and then he sees, look for God in everything. Ever since, I have looked for God in everything, believing I would see Him.

I have had the pleasure of a more personal relationship with Jesus as a result. One of the most amazing spin-offs is my increase of faith.

John 4:47-53, tells a story of a nobleman whose son was at the point of death. He went to seek Jesus to heal his son. When he found Him, Jesus replied with an interesting assertion. Jesus said, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe" (John 4:48). Then in verse 50 we read, ""Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.""

Notice the man believed the word Jesus spoke. The noble man then started his journey back home. The next day the man met his servants on his way home. They told him, his son was getting better. The man inquired as to when the boy started to get well. The nobleman had some faith but still questioned it.

The men answered his question, the Bible tells us, "So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And he himself believed, and his whole household" (John 4:53). When the man recognized the involvement of God, His faith increased---and even overflowed through his whole household!

If you want to increase your faith, start with the easy things, like His amazing creations. Then, start to look for Him in everything. Your relationship with Him will grow and your faith will multiply.

Be blessed.
